I have been working with children for more than 25 years. My career began as a teacher and I still spend many hours a week in classrooms throughout central and northern California playing music, telling stories, and just having a great time interacting with children.

I love to play old traditional favorites as well as a large repertoire of original songs. Children share in our history by hearing the music of the past and get a feel for the 'good old days.'

My original songs are all taken from my life experiences as a teacher and father and from watching how children view the world today.

It is exciting as well to take the art of story telling and children's music to teachers and early childhood educators. In workshops, classes, and seminars I have the opportunity to work with educators of all levels and help them to develop their own style, as well as to enhance the quality of circle time and literacy activities they provide.

From storytelling to singing and playing my guitar, I do what I love...and I love what I do.
